Knape & Vogt's Focus is Innovative Products

at the Midwest Industrial Woodworking Expo

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., November 24, 2003 – Innovative products that provide value to KV's customers as well as the end consumer are the focus of Knape & Vogt Manufacturing Co. (Nasdaq: KNAP).

The Grand Rapids, Mich.-based manufacturer of functional hardware, storage-related accessories and ergonomic products will display several new products in key categories, including kitchen and bath solutions and office products.

The new items on display in Booth No. 901 at the Midwest Industrial Woodworking Expo, December 4-5 at the DeVos Place in Grand Rapids, Michigan, will demonstrate KV's ongoing strategy to create cutting-edge products for its customers. The Company is committed to investing in new product development with the goal of making its customers more productive and therefore more profitable.

KV's product introductions at the Woodworking Expo will include the following:

An Updated Polymer Lazy Susan by Real Solutions For Real Lifeä: This new twist on a perennial favorite is equipped with a host of upgrades, including a new bisque color and an easy-to-clean texture available in either a full-round or kidney-shape. Other new features include a universal metal mounting plate that reduces installation time, chrome beauty rings, a chrome telescoping post for easy pole height adjustment and easy-to-pop-in bearing hubs for automatic shelf-centering on the kidney style.

Wood Pull-out Susan: This lazy susan fashioned of beautiful natural birch, heavy gauge wire fencing and KV's heavy duty, smooth-gliding 8400 slides. Designed for today's high-end and gourmet kitchens, the Wood Pull-out Susan provides convenient access to kitchen essentials with a look that fits perfectly with any decor. KV will also introduce a high-end Wood Susan, which is fashioned of quality veneers and accented with a wood rim.

Height-adjustable Ergonomic Work Table by idea@WORKä:The ProLiftixätable will be outfitted with the latest in ergo office accessories, including an Adjustable Keyboard and Monitor Arm and a CPU Holder, all by idea@WORK.

A collection of brand-new Drawer Slides, including:

n Heavy duty slides, including the 200-pound class 8800/8805 series and the 500-pound class 8900 slide;

n The 8090 4 x 4 Pocket Dooräslide appropriate for large doors – such as on entertainment centers – and holds up to 75 pounds;

n The 1388 heavy duty television swivel, which easily supports today's extra-large televisions;

n The new 8000 undermount overtravel shelf/pantry slide with a load rating of

130 pounds. Applications include pull-out storage shelves, kitchen pull-out pantries and

entertainment centers;

n A face frame snap-in adapter bracket for KV's 8400 slides that allows the slide

to quickly adapt to front face frame construction.
