Practical, upscale home décor is the prevailing theme of Knape & Vogt's new product offerings at the National Hardware Show Aug. 10-12.

The Grand Rapids, Mich.-based producer of kitchen and bath storage solutions, shelving, drawer slides and ergonomic office products will feature two new product lines, Shelf Made ^TM Instant Shelves and Solid Surface Shelving, in Booth 10800 at the Hardware Show in Chicago.

For ease of installation, the Shelf Made^TM Instant Shelf is the hands-down favorite. The do-it-yourself shelving comes out of its attractive packaging and attaches to the wall without so much as a swing of the hammer. An added bonus: When removed, an Instant Shelf leaves only tiny pinholes behind. The Instant Shelf is ideal for the homeowner, apartment dweller or college student who want to spruce up a room quickly with no fuss or tools.

KV's Solid Surface Shelving line is fashioned of material that mimics the look of marble and granite, yet is light weight and easy to install. The European-style shelves mount to the wall with "barely there" clips available in a variety of upscale colors and finishes. Shelf shapes, which complement either traditional or trendy room themes, include rectangles with rounded corners, half circles and corners. Solid Surface Shelving is also available in clear and frosted tempered glass.

The Instant Shelf and Solid Surface Shelving lines are just two products representing KV's push to provide consumers with products that look and feel more upscale, according to Scott Royal-Ferris, Vice President of KV's Home and Commercial Products division.

Display Ledge Kits are crafted from solid pine and reflect the elegance of traditional cornice molding. They're easy to install and come with mounting instructions and hardware. Premiere Glass Shelf Kits feature upscale designs with polished brass and stainless steel to hold and accent the tempered glass. Shelves are available in straight, corner and arc shapes.

Real Solutions For Real Life™ storage products, a line that includes more than 30 new products designed for practical storage and organization in the kitchen and bath. These products emphasize user-friendly features that make sense for the busy consumer. Products include a sophisticated Backsplash Rail system to hold kitchen gadgets, Lazy Susan storage containers, waste and recycling units and innovative spice shelves for inside the cabinet.

The Wine Wall, which provides practical and decorative wine storage for today's design-conscious consumer. The Wine Wall has a front and back wire grid that holds 36 wine bottles securely in place. The decorative Old World grape accents give the piece a finished, upscale look appropriate for a variety of rooms. Add-on kits are also available and easy to attach when the need for more storage arises.

Work @Ease™ products, innovative work tools and accessories created for home office workers and entrepreneurs. The collection includes adjustable keyboard drawers, a flat screen monitor arm, CPU holders and a mouse tray.
