Aggressive Product Development Efforts Result in Innovative Concept Products

Knape & Vogt Manufacturing Co. (Nasdaq: KNAP) is focusing on developing products that address the needs of today's busy household, as evidenced by its introduction of more than a dozen new innovative products and concepts at the International Woodworking Fair 2002, August 22-25 in Atlanta at Booth 3037.

The Grand Rapids, Mich.-based manufacturer of kitchen and bath storage solutions and office products will introduce a broad range of products at this year's show, including new kitchen storage products and cabinet hardware, and prototype products designed for kitchen and household organization.

* Lazy Susan options, including user-friendly features such as customized storage containers, shelf partitions and pull-out sections.
* Lazy Susan prototype products to make the Lazy Susan even more hardworking. Concept products include chrome dividers, rim trays and fold-up organizers for spice jars.

* Toe-Kick Opener or TKO(TM), designed for hands-free operation to open cabinets that house waste and recycling bins.

* Kitchen Storage and Organization prototypes for a wide range of items including cookbooks, pots and pans, sink gadgets and even the family ironing board.

* Self-Close Drawer Slide designed to be highly durable with minimal noise for kitchen cabinetry, desks and box drawers.

* 4x4 Pocket Door(TM) Slide designed specifically for oversized pocket doors, particularly those found on large entertainment centers.
