KV® Showcases North-American Sizes of VirtúTM Closet Collection

New Products Will Be On Display at the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show in April

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., April 1, 2006 – Knape & VogtTM (KV) Manufacturing Co. (Nasdaq: KNAP) is showcasing a group of 14-inchdepth components recently added to its Italian-designed luxury closet line.

The KV Virtú Closet Collection consists of sophisticated components with design and functionality details preferred by designers and owners of luxury homes.

The 14-inch components feature full-extension precision slides for ergonomic accessibility. Baskets and accessories pull completely out of the closet system for complete accessibility. For side-mounted accessories, an optional hinge may be added to rotate the components into full view.

The new 14-inch components, which fit a majority of North American closets, include frames, baskets and pant racks, as well as a valet, pullout shelving, and a tie/belt holder. The complete Virtú Closet Collection consists of wire baskets, resin baskets, wire pullout slack rack, wire pullout shelving, wire pullout shoe racks, wire pullout tie and belt holder, wire pullout clothes holder and wire pullout valet.

High-end design elements are incorporated into all Virtú products for performance and aesthetic consistency.

It’s the attention to detail that sets Virtú Closets apart from other closet products. For example, nylon rollers attach to side rails so that components slide effortlessly. In some applications, components pivot for maximum use of space.
