Knape & VogtTM Adds Backsplash Series in Two New Finishes

Products Will Launch at the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., April 1, 2006 – Knape & Vogt (KV®) Manufacturing Co. (Nasdaq: KNAP) offers two new backsplash collections in finishes to complement today’s luxury kitchens.

The sleek minimalist design of the Satin Chrome Backsplash Collection is a perfect match with stainless steel appliances, chrome or stainless range hoods, and cabinet hardware favored by many designers and homeowners.

A second offering is the Antique Bronze Collection produced with a hand-finished plating process that beautifully accents a traditional kitchen decor.

“Both of these new finishes go a long way in complementing the finishes found in today’s decorative
hardware, sinks and appliances,” said Ryan Grevenstuk, product manager for Knape & Vogt’s kitchen and bath products.

The Satin Chrome Backsplash series features flat wire supports and steel platforms to organize cooking utensils while adding a decorative accent above a cook top or counter. Hang rails are available in lengths of 18, 24, 36 or 48 inches. Another option is an angled, 90-degree rail.

Accessories include two-tier baskets measuring 9 inches wide and 12 inches wide, an angle

basket, a standard basket and S-hooks.

The Antique Bronze Collection includes the same accessories as the Satin Chrome series as well as a three-tiered wine bottle holder and a dinnerware holder.
