KV® VirtúTM Easy Corner Takes Blind Corners with Ease

Company to Introduce the Product at the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., April 1, 2006 — Knape & Vogt (KV) Manufacturing Co. (Nasdaq: KNAP) will soon offer a heavyduty chrome wire product that creates accessible storage in hard-to-reach corner cabinets.

The KV Virtú Easy Corner is the newest addition in Knape & Vogt’s Virtu Collection of upscale accessories for today's luxury kitchens. Easy Corner features a clever door-actuated mechanism that pulls the three-drawer system out of the blind corner and into the cabinet opening.

“It literally puts three shelves and three baskets of storage right at your fingertips,” said Ryan Grevenstuk, product manager for Knape & Vogt’s kitchen and bath products. “All you have to do is open the cabinet door.”

Available for two cabinet opening widths — 15 inches or 18 inches — the unit is unhanded for use in a left or right blind corner. The drawers glide smoothly on precision ball bearing slides. They can be pulled out individually for complete access to contents. Removable door-mounted pie-shaped baskets provide ease of adjustment for storage of items of varying heights. The attractive chrome wire design fits today’s luxury kitchen designs.
