Knape & Vogt® Showcases Flat-Panel Television Lift

GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan, August 1, 2006 — Knape & Vogt (KV^®) Manufacturing Co. is showcasing its KV Flat-Panel Television Lift at the International Woodworking Fair in August.

“The explosive market growth of flat-panel televisions will redefine residential design and where people watch TV,” said Bill Larsen, marketing manager. “Our product development team responded to market demand by designing a television lift that can be placed in a traditional entertainment cabinet, or somewhere new, such as on a bed footboard.”

The KV Flat Panel Television Lift incorporates several features to set itself apart from the competition:

• Lifts plasma televisions at 1.25 inches per second;
• Accommodates televisions up to 60 inches wide and 150 pounds;
• Draws less than three amps of power;
• Powered by an “impulse drive” for soft starts and stops;
• Contains by custom “anti-collision” software;
• Operates by IR (Infra-red) remote and push-button control;
• Universal TV mounting hardware included.
