Altissimo Workstation Is First Rear-Mount, HFES-Compliant, Retrofit Solution for Sit-to-Stand Desking

Thursday, December 3, 2015

GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan—Knape & Vogt  has announced the Altissimo Desktop Sit-Stand Workstation – the only HFES-compliant, rear-mounted device on the market designed to retrofit an existing desktop with sit-to-stand capability.

The Altissimo offers 25" of height adjustment and meets ANSI/HFES 100-2007 standards for 5th percentile female seated to a 95th percentile male standing.

The workstation mounts at the rear of the work surface and extends forward, for greater stability and to allow the keyboard to rest below the desk for proper ergonomic positioning. The integrated monitor arm supports most 24-inch monitors and offers independent screen adjustments including tilt as well as portrait to landscape positioning. Rear positioning also allows users to move the unit up off the desk to free up work space.

The unit is available with a single monitor support with or without a keyboard tray/shelf, as well as in a dual-monitor support model.

“The Altissimo Workstation with single or dual monitor support allows users to move from seated to standing in one smooth, effortless motion,” said Scott Sheppard, senior director of marketing at Knape & Vogt. “It offers users the ultimate comfort and flexibility with industry leading stability and ergonomic support.”
